Who is Better Brisbane?
Better Brisbane is a Brisbane-based residential service business built to make recurring home care simpler. Lawn care is our first membership service, with scheduling managed around local growing conditions.
Are you insured, and who completes the work?
Yes. Better Brisbane is insured for the lawn-care services we provide. Work may be completed by Better Brisbane team members or approved service professionals operating as part of our service network.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. The membership is month-to-month. You can cancel at any time, which stops future renewals. Your membership continues until the end of the active paid billing period.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. You may pause for one full billing cycle, up to 30 days, once in any 12-month period. Please request the pause at least seven days before your next renewal. Billing and scheduled visits pause together. Your lawn must still meet standard eligibility when service resumes.
How does the monthly membership work?
The membership is $119 per month including GST for every eligible resident. It is month-to-month with no lock-in contract.
What does the $119 monthly membership include?
It covers scheduled lawn mowing, edging, whipper snipping, blow-down and tidy-up, and removal of lawn-care green waste for eligible standard residential lawns.
How often will my lawn be serviced?
Service is scheduled approximately fortnightly from October to March and every four weeks from April to September. This follows Brisbane's seasonal lawn growth while keeping the monthly price consistent.
What happens if it rains?
If rain or ground conditions make the work unsafe or unsuitable, we will move the visit to the next practical route date and notify you of the change.
What do I need to do before a visit?
Please provide safe access, unlock required gates, secure pets and remove movable obstacles from the lawn. If access is unavailable, we will reschedule the visit and notify you so access can be secured.
What if my lawn is already overgrown?
Overgrown lawns are assessed before membership service begins. If the lawn is outside the standard visit scope, we will provide a separate one-off restoration quote. The $119 membership begins once the lawn is restored and confirmed as eligible. The same process may apply after a pause or extended access issue.
Can I transfer the membership if I move?
Yes, provided the new Brisbane address and lawn qualify. We will check the new property before transferring the service schedule.
